Live music tonight in Beeston and Kimberley

Friday18 week number 6 sees Higgs Bo’Sun performing traditional British and Irish folk tunes with a wide variety of instruments in Beeston Square, while Indie and Alt Rock band We Are The Station take over The White Lion in Kimberley!
Make your way over to either location tonight at 6:00pm for a great hour of free live music.

Industrial icon celebrates opening of new visitor centre
A new visitor centre and café funded by the Kimberley Means Business Fund opened last weekend (Saturday 18 July), marking the final milestone in a ten-year project to bring a new lease of life to Bennerley Viaduct.
The building, with its Corten steel cladding, is inspired by railway carriages, giving the structure an industrial appearance that reflects the viaduct’s past. The steel is uncoated to minimise future maintenance. Inside is a welcoming café serving refreshments made with locally sourced ingredients, an education and exhibition space that will feature local artists and information about the history of the bridge, and toilets.
