Beeston Summer Fete Poster promoting the event on 4 July in Broadgate Park

It’s finally here: Beeston Summer Fete takes place tomorrow!

Head on down to Broadgate Park tomorrow afternoon between 12:00pm and 4:00pm to join in the fun. The whole family will get to enjoy live stage performances, fairground rides, community stalls, free face painting, a dog show, and so much more.

The ‘We Love Beeston’ carnival parade will be marching toward the park through Beeston town centre to kick start the event! This parade will be starting from Foster Avenue at 12:00pm.

You can find details on everything happening, including the timings for our stage and details on road closures for the event, here: www.broxtowe.gov.uk/beestonsummerfete

Please consider walking, cycling or using public transport to get to this event. There is no on-site event car park, so please use town centre car parks if travelling by car and be considerate if choosing to park on surrounding residential areas.

With thanks to our event sponsor Fresh Asia (Europe)Ltd.

Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week

Graphic with the text "Report Anti-Social Behaviour at www.broxtowe.gov.uk/asb"

This week is Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and at ease in their community. Sadly, anti-social behaviour can take that away.

It includes any actions that cause harassment, alarm or distress—such as verbal abuse, bullying, vandalism, fly-tipping, loud or disruptive noise, or ongoing disturbances like persistent dog barking. These behaviours may seem small to some, but they can have a big impact on people’s daily lives.

We are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour across the Borough. By working closely with the police, housing providers and other partner organisations, we take a coordinated, proactive approach. Through regular multi-agency meetings, we share information, identify emerging issues, and take action together to keep our communities safe.

You can make a difference too.

If you see anti-social behaviour, please report it. Your information helps us take action and support those affected.
