Work to install a much-needed road crossing to improve safety and accessibility for school children, families and the wider community, has begun on Pasture Road in Stapleford.

These improvements will help slow traffic speeds along the road, improve pedestrian connections and non-motorised travel between Hickings Lane, the Stapleford Community Pavilion and Pasture Road Recreation Ground and the skatepark.

We’re replacing older electric vehicle chargers with new, faster, and more reliable units across all council managed car parks.

  • Faster charging
  • More charging bays at key locations
  • Supporting cleaner, greener travel

Work will begin soon and will be carried out in phases. Car parks will stay open, but some EV bays may be temporarily unavailable during installation.

Further information, including which car parks are included in the first phase, will be available on the Council website at www.broxtowe.gov.uk/electricvehiclecharging
