Regulator of Social Housing Judgement Meetings

rsh

You’re invited to our Regulator of Social Housing Judgement meetings!

The Regulator for Social Housing (RSH) completed a thorough inspection of Broxtowe Borough Council in October 2025, in relation to the Regulator’s consumer standards. During the inspection, the Regulator met with tenants, officers and Elected Members and reviewed a wide range of documents and data.

We will be receiving our rating from RSH on Wednesday 14 January at 9:30am. The judgement will be published for anyone to read at the same time via this link.

Tenants are invited to listen to a short overview of the judgement issued by the RSH in relation to Broxtowe Borough Council. This will explain the Regulator’s findings, what they mean for tenants, and the steps the Council is taking in response. We encourage all tenants to take part to stay informed and understand how this judgement supports improvements to housing services and standards.

Appliance Safety

wok fire

Unfortunately, we have had a couple of fires recently in our properties, caused by leaving kitchen appliances unattended.

Please remember avoid distractions when cooking and if you need to leave the room, remove pans from the heat. Also, check that the cooker, hob, and other appliances are switched off when you're done cooking.

For more tips and advice, visit the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue website.
