 The Hemlock Happening is back for 2025, with a special celebration to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, including a performance from the British Army's world famous Parachute Display Team, the Red Devils!
Enjoy a jam-packed day of live music, from 1940s classics to modern hits, headlined by the electrifying The Jaxx and supported by a dynamic lineup including Beggar's Belief, Televised, Anteloup, Acoustic Soda, Slow Train, Shell's Belles with Jeanie Barton and the inspiring Nottingham Military Wives Choir at the United Living Main Stage. Whether you enjoy classic rock, indie, acoustic, jazz or choral harmonies, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
You can also explore the interactive military displays, family attractions, arts and crafts, the Performance Arena showcasing local groups and eco-fun in the Green Zone. With food, drink and a stunning firework finale at 10.30pm, it is a day for the whole community to remember!
D.H. Lawrence Museum Wellbeing Walk

Join us for the Wellbeing Walk this June! Take a refreshing stroll along a scenic trail in Eastwood, a perfect chance to connect with others and enjoy the outdoors.

Friday 18 - Live Music in Beeston

Enjoy free live music in Beeston town centre this summer, featuring local artists and performers. It's a great chance to support local talent before visiting one of Beeston's excellent pubs, restaurants and bars.
Friday18 presents an hour of live music every Friday from 6.00pm, starting on 20 June running until 8 August. The series kicks off with Joshua Todd performing his own, original indie/alt rock songs. What better way to support local artistic talent and the Beeston nightlife economy.

Play Days 2025 - A Place To Be For Summer fun
30 July, 5, 7, 11 August 2025, 12pm - 4pm
The popular fun-filled summer event series is back this year in Nuthall (30 Jul), Chilwell (5 Aug), Stapleford (7 Aug) and Eastwood (11 Aug)!
Children of all ages can enjoy an array of activities including face painting, circus skills, cool science, inflatables, arts and crafts, puppet shows, fairground rides and much more. There is something for everyone!

Beeston and Chilwell Garden Trail
Saturday 7 June and Sunday 8 June, 1pm - 6pm, various venues around Beeston and Chilwell
Get inspired and support charity by spending the weekend on the Beeston and Chilwell Garden Trail.
Each year, around 20 local gardeners in Beeston and Chilwell join together to open their gates for visitors. From small terrace yards, to large, landscaped gardens with plush lawns and deep borders, garden holders are on hand to answer questions and share tips. There should be something to inspire and interest everyone regardless of your gardening space or ability!
Some gardens hold plant or craft sales, sell refreshments, or host entertainment such as music, crafts, or games.
Check out the trail map using the link below to plan your route! Tickets can be bought via the link. However, you can also buy tickets with cash at the garden gate of most, but not all, gardens in the Trail (Adults £5 and Children under 14 FREE).
Lead by Example: Pop-Up Event at Attenborough Nature Reserve

Calling all dog lovers, nature fans, and four-legged role models!
Get down to Attenborough Nature Reserve for a tail-wagging morning as they launch the new Lead by Example campaign - a positive way to celebrate responsible dog walking and recruit volunteers who want to help protect local wildlife.
This pop-up event is all about showcasing how simple measures when dog walking can help wildlife thrive. It's also a chance to become one of the very first Ambassadog volunteers.
Whether you're a regular dog walker, curious about volunteering, or just popping by for a stroll they'd love to see you and your pup. You'll find them on the main path just over the bridge by the car park between 9.30am and 12.30pm. No need to book just turn up!
