Launch of New Broxtowe Business Forums

Broxtowe Borough Council are launching a series of business forums to strengthen and increase our engagement with local businesses.
A forum will take place in each town centre offering the opportunity for businesses to network, find out more about free business support available to help your business to thrive and hear more about how Broxtowe Borough Council can help your business.
There will also be a guest speaker and opportunity for you to tell the Council about your local business requirements.

Broxtowe Business Support Surgery

We’re inviting local businesses to a FREE Business Support Surgery. Whether you’re already in business or just about to start up, you have the opportunity to speak to Nottinghamshire County Council's Business Adviser, Alison North.
There are six slots available throughout the day and they are bookable on a first come, first served basis.
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Small Business Summit

High Growth Roadshow: Investment Ready Workshop

Following on from the launch of the East Midlands Combined County Authority’s (EMCCA) £8m Early Stage Angel Investment Fund in July, a series of high growth focused investment ready workshops for 15 selected ambitious businesses in early autumn has launched.
The workshops will cover four key areas: fundraise planning, financial Strategy, fundraise budget and fundraise timeline, so businesses understand the rigours of the process when planning to raise external investment from the range of different funding sources of debt and equity.
