Brightening up the Borough...
Summer bedding in Broxtowe
Broxtowe is awash with colour as we welcome in the summer!
For the last few weeks the Grounds Team have been busy planting all the bedding plants across 89 beds in the Borough varying in size and shape.
The plants include petunias, geraniums and salvia which provide a splash of colour and cheer throughout the summer months.

Queen Elizabeth Park - You said, We did
Each year we run our Parks and Open Spaces consultation to hear your thoughts on sites across the Borough.
You said: The play area in Queen Elizabeth park could use some equipment for toddlers.
We did: Recently our team completed improvements at this site. This includes the addition of exciting new equipment for toddlers including a low level toddler unit, toddler swings, a springy and an inclusive play panel.
You can get involved with other consultations, check results from closed consultations and find other ways to feed back to the Council on our Consultations Hub.
Look out for more information on our website and social media pages about our next Parks and Open Spaces consultation which will be coming up next month.
Works at Bramcote Hills Park have begun
The design is based on feedback from the consultation undertaken at the Hemlock Happening and the Bramcote Hills Park consultation we ran last summer.
The responses showed strong support for equipment serving a mixture of ages within the fenced area. As such, a wide range of new equipment will be installed, including new climbing units, a zipline, a large group swing and a wheelchair accessible roundabout.
The surfacing, equipment and layout has been designed to make the area more accessible, inclusive and welcoming to a range of ages and abilities.
