Songs wanted for international music project

Calling all musicians share your song to be part of our International Music Project

Musicians, bands, singers, choirs, songwriters, composers and ensembles are being invited to submit a chorus to contribute to our CCities song, as part of an international music project between Broxtowe and cities in Germany, Sweden, France and Poland.

66% reduction in burglaries reported in Eastwood thanks to Safer Streets

A £250,000 investment in public space safety in part of Eastwood has helped achieve significant reductions in burglary, vehicle crime and antisocial behaviour.

Local businesses can apply for up to £5,000 of funding to help their business

Grants on offer include:

  • UKSPF SME Energy Grant - offering up to £5,000 towards a range of energy-saving measures.
  • UKSPF Micro Business Grant - offering up to £5,000 to help micro businesses address their support needs and help them to take their micro business to the next level.
  • UKSPF High Street Business Grant - this grant funding will help small businesses on the high streets in Beeston, Chilwell and Eastwood. Grants of up to £5,000 can help towards the cost of shop and business frontage improvements

£45,650 is being invested in sports and cycling initiatives in Eastwood to help people live well and connect in the community.
