Financial Inclusion Officer
Salary: Up to £25,867
We are looking for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join our Income Collection Team, who are responsible for managing over 4000 tenancies. With knowledge of social housing, you will provide advice and guidance to our tenants to help them maximise their income, avoid financial difficulties and budget effectively.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Housing team to support tenants to pay their rent, minimise arrears and prevent tenancy failure.

Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to help deliver and improve its Housing Neighbourhood Management service. As part of the Tenancy Sustainment Officer role, you will have daily contact with vulnerable customers that hold tenancies with the Council.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that customers are supported to sustain their tenancies with the Council. The customers that you will be supporting will be some of our most vulnerable tenants, some of which will have their tenancy at risk, and it will be part of your role to work with them in a variety of ways to try to resolve or improve their situation.

The job involves event planning, marketing, delivery and evaluation of a number of high quality community focused outdoor events per year. This role is predominantly a mix of marketing and responsibility for co-ordinating the event infrastructure needed to deliver an event safely.
The majority of the events are focused on community engagement and include family Play Days during the summer, outdoor films as well as a number of Christmas Lights Switch On events.

We are recruiting a Customer Services Officer to join our established team based at the Council Offices in Beeston.
As a customer services specialist you’ll have the ability to answer and resolve a wide variety of enquiries over the telephone and face to face. We provide a broad range of different services, including Benefits, Council Tax, Housing Repairs and Refuse, so you’ll need the ability to quickly understand and interpret information from a range of sources.

Part Time Gas Engineer

We are looking for a Gas Engineer to undertake domestic gas servicing and maintenance activities within our 4500 Council houses.
You will be able to diagnose faults to gas appliances and fix problems without delay on a daily basis and be competent in the use of data recording and analysis equipment. Most of our boiler stock is Worcester Bosch, so knowledge and skills of servicing and maintaining Worcester boilers will be an advantage.
You will be expected to use the latest technology for appointments and maintain the highest level of customer care to assist us to achieve our ambitious objectives.

Supported by an Engagement Manager and a Leasehold and Performance Manager, the Housing Services and Strategy Manager is responsible for a wide range of housing functions including tenant engagement, independent living activities, leasehold management, performance monitoring, right to buy and property acquisitions.
