This Partnership offers free, impartial and unbiased support to individuals to help them explore ways in which their conflict may be resolved.

It's a safe, neutral and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to talk through issues with a view to long term resolution.

This a partnership between Citizen Advice Broxtowe, Broxtowe Youth Homeless and Broxtowe Borough Council.

Can You Spot the Signs?

Domestic abuse isn't just physical. It's about someone you know trying to control your life. This could be a partner, ex-partner, or someone in the family.

Abuse can be financial, psychological, emotional or sexual.

Can you spot the signs?

  • May be withdrawn
  • Tread on egg-shells especially around their partner
  • Constantly checking in with their partner
  • Explanations for injuries that don't add up
  • Cancelling or failing to show up to arrangements
  • If you or someone you know is experiencing these signs please seek advice.

What is Independent Living?

Broxtowe’s Independent Living Service offers comfortable and affordable accommodation for people who are 60+, along with a Tunstall system which provides 24 hours a day access to an emergency response centre.

Moving in to one of our quality apartments gives you peace of mind. There is also the opportunity to join in with social activities and build friendships by using the communal facilities. 

You will have a feeling of being safe and secure, without the burden of having to maintain a larger property on your own

STAR Winner

Thank you to all our tenants and leaseholders who completed and returned their STAR (Survey of Tenants and Residents). We are really grateful to everyone who has shared their views of Housing services with us.

We are delighted to announce the winner of the Amazon Fire Tablet, picked at random from all surveys completed.

Conversations have the power to change lives - helping to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.

Join the well for work programme where they support people facing barriers, whether it's mental health, or financial struggles, special education need, disabilities or when English isn't your first language. 

They can support to get training, work and advice in a range of areas.

Rent Free Weeks

Each year there are four weeks that are rent free. There are normally two weeks in March and two weeks in December. To see the most up to date rent free week visit - Your Rent.
