We Must All Keep Sticking To The Guidance

Hands, Face, Space

This week we all heard the positive news that more than 10 million people have now received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Some much needed positive news after what seemed like the longest start to the year.

As the vaccine roll out starts to ramp up, we must continue to stic to the Government guidance to help protect each other until we can all get the vaccine. You're hard work is paying off, so please keep up the great work!

Remember:

  • Stay at home
  • Only leave home to shop for essentials, if you cannot work from home or for daily exercise
  • When out shopping please wear your face coverings at all times, unless exempt
  • Remember to social distance and keep 2 metres away from those that are not in your household
  • If you get symptoms, self-isolate and get tested
  • Don't forget to keep washing your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water

Mythbusting

I feel safe so don't have to wear a face covering

Wearing a face covering is an act of kindness. It helps protect those around you and and their family and friends who may be more at risk.

We understand that some of you may be exempt and that’s ok, but if you’re not, please make every effort to keep others safe in the same way they are trying to keep you safe.

Appointments available for Clinically Extremely Vulnerable people to receive COVID-19 vaccinations

The vaccine will save tens of thousands of people

Anyone under the age of 70 classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire has been sent a letter inviting them to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

Anyone in this category must bring their invitation letter or shielding letter to their appointment as proof they are eligible for vaccination.

Under 16s, including children classed as clinically extremely vulnerable, are not currently advised to have a COVID-19 vaccination.

Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk day took place earlier this week on the 4th February but it's something that we can still apply throughout the year.

A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.

We know that the more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the isolation, shame and worthlessness that too many of us with mental health problems are made to feel.

Time to Talk Day is the day that we get the nation talking about mental health – together we can end mental health stigma.
