The Rule of Six
The Mayor, Councillor Janet Patrick has a lovely way of thinking about the Rule of Six, inspired by Winning the Pooh and AA Milne's poem 'Now We Are Six'.
But now I am six,
I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now
for ever and ever.
Social distancing won't last forever but it is important that we follow these rules now. It's hard to do, but if we can stick to a gathering of six and it saves lives and stops the pandemic from spreading, it's worth it.
Let's keep ourselves, family, friends and community safe, we can beat this together Broxtowe.

- Book a coronavirus test
- Check your local area risk level
- Get alerted if you've been near other users who have tested positive for coronavirus

Green Home Grant Voucher Scheme
The Green Homes Grant gives homeowners vouchers to help cover the cost of energy efficiency improvements to their home – such as, loft, wall and floor insulation and low-carbon heating systems (funding is not available for gas or oil heating systems).
If you have at least one of these ‘primary’ improvements you can also use the grant for ‘secondary’ items such as double glazing, as long as it costs no more that you spend on the ‘primary’ improvement.
