Part Time Business Support Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our busy Business Support Team providing support to all departments of the Council.
The post will provide experience in a wide range of clerical, administrative, technical and financial support to operational services. It will be based in our busy team providing administrative support across all the Council’s services. The role is varied and you will experience working with colleagues from all areas of the Council, be trained in the use of several IT systems and be part of an ever changing working environment.

Head of Environmental Services
Salary: £52,368 - £57,604
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead, manage and develop our high performing Environmental Services teams. This key role is responsible for the Depot including Refuse, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance covering Parks, Open Spaces and Cemeteries, Transport, Fleet and Workshop, and the Council’s Climate Change and Green Futures programme.
A customer focused approach that consistently demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude is required; you will need excellent communication skills with proven experience of creating and maintaining customer relationships and communicating clearly with customers in a language they understand.

Repairs Operative (Building)

We are looking for skilled tradespeople to join our highly performing in-house Housing Repairs Team. We own over 4,000 homes in Broxtowe and are the area’s largest landlord. Our in-house Housing Repairs Team undertake over 14,000 repairs each year.
We have a number of permanent roles available and are looking for skilled tradespeople who have a range of building skills. We are particularly interested in people who have skills in the following trades:
- Plasterers
- General building
- Roofing
- Paving
