VJ Day marks the victory over Japan and the end of WWII. It is a chance for us to take a moment to reflect on the magnitude of WWII and what the declaration of peace would have meant to people across the world.
Mark VJ Day at home
As social distancing continues, here's some things you can do to mark the day at home or teach your children about VJ Day.
Dress Your Windows
Dress your windows with our downloadable bunting and union jack flags or complete a postcard and pop it up in your window.

Download Our VJ Day Activity Pack
It's full of things you can do from home with your children, including templates to design your own commemorative newsletter and postcard, as well as information about VJ Day.
There's lots of information on the official VJ Day website where you can find veteran stories, get involved in Dan Snow's VJ challenge and lots more.
