7 Top Tips for Spring Cleaning

Bulky Waste

It's that time of year to do a spring clean and start a fresh. Here are some top tips to help you along the way.

  1. Bulky Items? Use our service to get rid of those items quickly. Visit our Bulky Waste Webpage for more details.
  2. Don't throw it in the 'communal areas'. Don't need it? Get rid.
  3. Nice day? Open those windows and let the fresh air in. It's great for the lungs and will reduce condensation within properties.
  4. Report it. See any fly tipping, repairs or missed bins etc... report it and we'll sort it. If you want to report anything to do with roads they are looked after by Nottingham County Council.
  5. Tidy up that Garden. You can enjoy the space you have created by getting you garden summer ready.
  6. Keep your Gas appointment. Ensure you and your family are kept safe and get it done.
  7. Grab some house plants. They brighten up your home and provide clean air.

Team of the Year

Congratulations to Housing Repairs for winning team of the year 2019 at Broxtowe Borough Council.

Well done to all of the Operatives out and about helping our customers. Also to the people in the office who organise the service.

So much hard work goes on in their team, supporting some of our more vulnerable customers.
