Free Wi-Fi details

Broxtowe Borough Council committee members voted in favour of installing free Wi-Fi in Stapleford Town Centre and agreed to invest £25k into the project, which will be part funded by a government grant to boost town centres. It is hoped that the Wi-Fi would be up and running by the end of April 2017.
Open meeting attendees will get to see details of the Free Wi-Fi network to be installed by Elephant Wi-Fi, who will be on hand to answer questions about how visitors will use the network and provide a demo, giving attendees the chance to try out how the network will work on their own mobile device.

Street Scene Improvements

As a priority the Stapleford Town Team have been obtaining quotes from local businesses to repaint the street furniture,
introduce new planters along the length of the high street, to create a sensory
garden at the Roach and an activity park with sensory planters in the Walter
Parker V.C. Memorial Square.
Meeting attendees will be able to see mock-ups of how the improvements may look and feedback their views.
