Brentwood Borough Council is partnering with Brentwood Chamber of Commerce to host a speed networking event to help you make new connections in the new year!
The benefit of speed networking is that it enables you to meet a lot of people in a short space of time, with the objective of finding a few people who you would like to connect with further.
A light buffet lunch will be available after the event, which will give you the opportunity to continue networking.
Spaces are filling quickly so we encourage you to register early for this event.

South Essex Business Expo
The South Essex Business Expo will be held on 14 March 2024 at The Brentwood Centre from 10am-3pm.
With over 150 exhibitors and an expected 1,000 visitors, the expo will be the largest networking event in South Essex in 2024.

Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council Strategic Partnership public consultation
In early 2022, Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council formed a unique partnership to develop a strategic alliance between the two councils. These two councils and two areas of Essex have their own distinct voice and character. However, they also share many of the same qualities and values, and that is what the partnership has tried to build on.

Adult Community Learning: Business networking breakfast events

Join Adult Community Learning (ACL) at their business networking breakfast events in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 February). ACL will be hosting two networking events for businesses to find out more about apprenticeships. Come along and find out more from companies that have taken on an apprentice and learn how it has transformed their business.

Call for nominations for Brentwood Civic Awards
Do you know someone who goes out of their way to make a difference in our community?
Brentwood Borough Council would like to recognise the hard work of organisations and locals who have continued to help others and make Brentwood a better place.
Anyone who lives or works in Brentwood can be nominated.
The nominations close on Friday 9 February and will be considered by the panel of judges.
The awards will be presented on Friday 5 April at the Civic Dinner.

Visit Essex Tomorrow's Tourism survey
Visit Essex and Essex County Council are undertaking a review of the visitor economy, looking at all the touch-points that visitors to Essex see and enjoy, from accommodation to attractions, conferences to culture and pubs to paths.
'Tomorrow's Tourism' will support the development of a destination management plan with a clear vision, objectives and actions to drive the growth of the visitor economy.
The survey should take no more than ten minutes to complete and is your chance to have a say. The survey closes on Wednesday 24 January.
