chocolate

Nothing is sweeter than saying Thank you

To celebrate World Chocolate Day and as part of our ongoing ‘Thank you month’, we supplied some chocolates for staff to give out to say thank you to their colleagues.

We can confidently this has been one of our most popular initiatives so far with all chocolates from Elizabeth House gone by 10am!

We can't wait to see some pictures of people enjoying their chocolate.

work experience

Work experience round up

It has been fantastic to meet Jonas, Harry, Elijah, Louis and Victor who joined us this week from Dereham Neatherd High School.

They have had a jam packed week, working with Housing, doing some coding with IT, shadowing the reception desk and Customer Services teams, some group time with Max, litter picking, a Communications challenge and so much more!

It has been amazing to see their confidence grow as the week progressed and become part of #TeamBreckland. We can't wait to see who comes next year!

natalia

Well done Natalia!

A massive well done to Natalia Kalamboukis, from the Environmental Services team, who completed a  24 mile walk this weekend.

The Trek24 challenge helps to raise money for East Anglian Air Ambulance. Natalia (pictured on the left) walked 24 miles along the Suffolk coast, completing it in under 9 hours! Her feet may have hurt but that smile says it all! If you would like to donate, click on the link below.

aircon

It's cool to keep your colleagues keep warm

It has come to our attention that the temperature controls in the collaborative zone are being changed. We work hard at keeping a good general temperature across the Elizabeth House site. However, the Collaborative zone is on a different circuit, therefore when the controls are changed it only affects that area. We ask you to please be mindful of your colleagues and do not tamper with the temperature.

tuck

Help to keep our tuck box going!

The tuck box was provided last year as a means to provide you with snacks during your working day and had a great response from staff. Unfortunately, we have recently seen an increase in 'IOU's' that have not been settled. The tuck box is self-funding and as such, if there is not enough money in the pot, we are unable to replenish the stock.

Please can all staff with an outstanding balance ensure this is settled in full by the end of next week so we can keep receiving this great perk.
