Ben Meen talks about the importance of cyber security

At Breckland, our cyber security can be influenced by a wide range of factors, including international events, and there is currently a heightened risk of malicious cyber incidents occurring here within the UK.

You will soon be receiving an email inviting you to complete some mandatory cyber security training. This is designed to support you in raising your awareness. It is important that you all ensure that this training is completed no later than 1 month after it is issued to help do your part in keeping Breckland Council secure.

Helping the pets and people of Ukraine

Charlotte Brenan, S106 Monitoring & Compliance Officer at Breckland, wants to make you aware of the brilliant work her daughter has been doing, raising money for people in the Ukraine travelling with pets.

She has designed some adorable animal centred tote bags and has already raised over £150 ! I think we can all agree this is a great initiative for an incredibly important cause.

Have your say on what you would like to see in the office!

Do you have an idea of what you would like to see in the office? The idea of a lightbox with the words #Teambreakland has been very popular, along with additional objects & stories that represents our workforce.

If you have any thoughts on some soft furnishing ornaments/pictures/plants that you would like to see that represents the following agreed words and any additional words you would like to see added.

Tell us what you want!

thank you

Thank you Holly!

Julia Perry wanted to say a massive thank you to Holly Attlesey in the Communications Team for being so helpful implementing our Wellbeing and Enrichment activities at Elizabeth House. There is lots of work that goes on behind the scenes behind these events and Holly is always so helpful, solution focused, and she really cares about staff wellbeing. I’ve really enjoy working with Holly, she is such an asset to the communication team.
