This is a special edition of the regular 'Homes for Ukraine: sponsor update' bulletin, featuring the latest information on free or low cost activities and meal options for children during the summer holidays.
Please share with your guests and anyone on the Ukraine Family Visa scheme.
The HAF programme is for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This funded programme is also available to Ukrainian children under both the Homes for Ukraine and Ukraine Family Visa schemes through a referral process.
To ensure that your guests have the best chance of being approved for this funding, their family link worker has a referral form to complete with them and send to the HAF team. Please do not complete the online registration form as it may not be approved. Contact your family link worker directly or email: ukraine@bracknell-forest.gov.uk if you have any questions.
Bracknell Forest Council has partnered with local providers to arrange activities during the summer holidays. Eligible families will receive 16 activity codes unique to each child. Each code entitles your child to four hours of free activities.
Most providers are offering half day sessions which will use one code. A few providers can only offer a full day which will mean you need to use two codes. To view the range of activities available through this scheme, please view the HAF webpages.
