The Elephant in the Library

Yes it's true there will be an elephant in the Library. Since we went to see Dumbo at the cinema and got all excited about elephants, we thought we would like to put on some elephant related events. We also have many other treats planned for you, come along for coffee, relaxation sessions, or try our new Yoga for People who don't do Yoga. Relax and enjoy and try not to get caught up in the stampede!

Adambara And Zhim

Adambara

Puppetry Show

‘Adambara and Zhim’ is a charming, whimsical show based on the traditional Indian Panchatantra story of the Elephant and the mouse.

The story is told by our narrator and mouse Zhim and encourages audience interaction and participation.

Through enchanting puppetry and storytelling we see how the two creatures learn to live side by side in harmony and how a tiny mouse helped the elephants to survive.

The performance includes commissioned music, sound effects and audience participation. This gentle show is perfect for ages 3+ and has a message of friendship, peace and harmony.
