Bradford District Infant and Early Years Feeding Survey.
We need schools’ help to reach families in the Bradford District.
The early years are a vital time to reduce health inequalities and support lifelong wellbeing. Over the next year, we’ll be gathering insights to inform the development of the Bradford District Infant and Early Years Feeding Strategy.
To ensure we hear from a diverse and representative range of voices, we please need your help. By sharing the survey within your school and community, you’ll be supporting us in better understanding families’ experiences and choices regarding infant and early childhood feeding.
The survey looks at feeding practices across the ages of 0-5 years, and anyone looking after, or living with, a child 7 and under can complete it. This includes mothers, fathers, grandparents, step or foster parents and carers.
Survey participants will receive a £5 Love2Shop e-Gift Card after entering their email address at the end of the survey.

Bradford Council’s Climate Action Event: 6th November 2025.
School from across the Bradford district will take part in a Climate Action Event hosted by Bradford Council, designed to support the development and refinement of school Climate Action Plans in line with the Department for Education’s (DfE) Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy.
The event provided schools with practical tools, expert guidance, and direct support to embed climate action across all aspects of school life, from governance and estates management to curriculum development and community engagement. Key themes included decarbonisation, climate adaptation, biodiversity, and environmental education.
Teachers will be introduced to a Climate Action Page hosted by Living Well schools, which is a dedicated hub of resources designed to empower pupils as climate ambassadors, amplifying student voice and inspiring action across families and communities.
If you would like support in accessing the resources available, get in touch with your Living Well schools Lead or to find out more email us at schools@mylivingwell.co.uk

Living Well Schools Grants & Funding.
Living Well Schools is always looking for grants and funding opportunities for Bradford schools!
We understand how challenging it can be to implement new health and wellbeing projects in schools when budgets are tight. As a team we are always looking for grants and funding opportunities for Bradford schools.
Many of the current grants and funding opportunities closely align with our Living Well Schools ‘Wider Provision’ and ‘Physical Environment’ key domains that constitute to a whole school approach for sustainable health promotion.
Wider Provision:
Beyond the classroom, schools have the opportunity to provide a breadth of activities that enrich children’s lives whilst promoting health and wellbeing. These include play times, extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that encourage healthy lifestyles and positive social interactions, whilst raising aspirations.
Physical Environment:
The physical environment of a school plays a significant role in promoting health. This includes safe and inspiring spaces that promote physical activity, an inclusive eating culture and a nurturing environment to promote all aspects of wellbeing.
For further signposting and support, please get in touch with your Living Well Schools Lead or email: schools@mylivingwell.co.uk

Long Term Conditions Resources
Step 2 conducted a piece of work in partnership with a number of local schools, and the children’s teams at St Luke's Hospital.
They interviewed a large number of children, parents, school staff and health professionals. As a result, Step2 have developed a Medical Passport and an information video to communicate what young people told them.
The video contains messages that young people wanted their schools to hear, and the passport was a response to them wanting to be able to quickly and easily communicate their needs.
This is editable, and should be produced with the young person, printed and laminated. It can then be easily carried in their blazer pocket or planner.
To download the passport and and watch the video:
