Your Health
 Snack-tember!
Snack-tember helps children and young people (ages 5–16) explore and enjoy healthier snacks with more fruit, veg, wholegrains, beans and pulses, and less saturated fat, salt and sugar.
The British Nutrition Foundation offers fun activities, recipes, and ideas to help kids learn and make better snack options.
Does your pain affect your ability to work?
Chronic pain can affect work, relationships, and independence, but you’re not alone - support is available.
Keighley Healthy Living offers free resources and support to help you manage work while living with pain.
Say NO to slushies for younger children
The Food Standards Agency advises not to give slush ice drinks to children under 7, and to limit them for ages 7–10 due to health risks from glycerol, which can cause headaches, nausea, low blood sugar, and even unconsciousness.
Check labels or ask sellers about glycerol content. If unsure, avoid the product.
Have your say!
Bradford Council’s Public Health team wants young people and families to help design a campaign to raise awareness of the risks of vaping and reduce youth vaping.
Vapes contain nicotine, can be addictive, and the long-term effects on young people are still unknown.
Share your views by 15 Sept to help create a campaign that truly reflects your concerns.
