Garden waste collection service 2025/26
It’s now time to renew your garden waste subscription. The service will run from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026 which includes 12 collections, one every four weeks.
If you renew and pay by 8 May, you will get a discounted price of just £58.50 for 12 collections. From 9 May, the price to renew will be £62.
If one bin isn't enough, you can get extra bins emptied for just £46.80 each.
Please note: If you are renewing your subscription, please do not order a bin unless you want to pay for an extra collection.
Did you buy more than one subscription last year?
If you paid for garden waste collections from more than one home in 2024, you will need to renew each one separately again.
Paused collections over Christmas and New Year
As with previous years, your garden waste bin will be emptied once every four weeks, with a pause in collections after Christmas and into the New Year. This helps us make sure we have enough staff to collect recycling and general waste over the busy festive season.
Once again this year we will be collecting garden waste right up until Christmas. The final collection date in 2025 will be 19 December, and collections will start again on 20 January 2026.
After you renew
Once we've received your payment we will send you a licence letter and new bin sticker to confirm you have paid for the service. It may take up to a few weeks to arrive. Please put the sticker on the lid of your brown bin so that it is clearly visible for the crews. Any bins put out without a valid sticker will not be emptied.
