Living Well Schools are launching Bradford Girl Power!

Bradford Girl Power is coming to 12 Bradford primary schools this year.

Living Well Schools is working with Bradford Girl Power to give 12 Bradford Primary schools an exciting opportunity. Teams of five girls will come together to learn about gender inequality in sports and conduct their own research. They will then choose a local issue and deliver a project to address the imbalance, empowering and inspiring other girls at their school.

The Living Well Schools team will be sharing an invite with schools this week to join an information webinar on the 6th of February with Natalie, who is running the programme in Bradford.

Keep your eyes open for the email with more information coming soon!

Living Well Schools - Poverty Awareness Training

An hour training session covering the Bradford context of poverty and how poverty impacts education and health.

Living Well Schools Poverty training will increase your whole school staff's understanding of poverty's impact on the school day and help you consider changes your school can make to reduce its impact.

During the session, your staff will review their current work and suggest changes they want to see. These will be summarised into a PowerPoint presentation you receive after the session, allowing you to review and look forward, including quotes from your staff members.
