Bin collections are currently suspended
 Further to the earlier email bulletin another operational meeting has taken place today and unfortunately after assessing the situation and in order to continue to prioritise the safety of the public and our crews, bin collections will remain suspended tomorrow, Thursday (9 January). Given the weather forecast, it may not be possible to resume bin collections before the end of the week.
We want to assure you that we will review conditions again tomorrow Thursday (9 January) and again on Friday (10 January) and attempt collections where it is deemed safe to do so.
Our staff who would normally be collecting waste will do their best to help the gritting team, keeping the district moving.
We will provide an update as soon as any further information is available.
