Flooding
Residents in areas where there are Flood Warnings and Alerts are advised to monitor local water levels and weather conditions and consider putting their flood plan into action.
Please do not walk, cycle or drive through flood water, as this can be dangerous.
We have officers out across the district working to help communities affected. Our Ward Officers are working with local community flood groups to provide support to residents. Highways and drainage officers have been out clearing gullies and trash screens on water courses to help reduce the impacts.
URGENT flooding issues can be reported via 01274 431000.
Bradford Council grass sports pitches
Due to the already wet and heavy condition of our grass sports pitches and with further heavy rain forecast today and into the weekend, we have taken the decision to close all of our grass sports pitches this weekend (21 and 22 October).
We hope that fixtures will be able to be back to normal next weekend.
