Consultation launched on 20mph zone and other traffic calming measures for Menston

20mph

We've launched a consultation on the introduction of a 20mph zone for Menston.

Our Traffic and Highways (North) Team want to find out what local residents think about the proposed traffic measures for the village.

The proposals include a village-wide 20mph zone with supporting traffic calming features on entrances to the zone and on the main through-routes.

One-way streets are also being proposed for Derry Hill and Leathley Road, as well as a priority give-way feature along Main Street outside Menston Primary School.

Copies of the plans and supporting documents can be found online.

Residents may submit comments by email to: MenstonFB@bradford.gov.uk, or by writing to the Traffic and Highways (North) Team at FREEPOST BRADFORD COUNCIL (please write 'Menston Feedback (Parysa Gharib) 4th Floor Britannia House' on the back of the envelope).

The consultation runs until Friday, 30 June 2023.
