Mahmood 'Mebs' Ahmed will be talking about his book and life.

'My family moved to Bradford when I was ten years old, living less than a mile from Manningham library, before going over the Pennines into Lancashire in 1973'

Mebs became a respected a respected member of the police force and his book is describes his ‘journey of self-discovery - both romantic and hard hitting’ as it shares many aspects of life for the first generation of South Asian migrants arriving in the UK.

10 Week Creative Writing Courses

City library Saturdays 10am to 12am starts 20th May.

Ilkley Library Fridays 4.30pm to 6.30pm starts 19th May.

Keighley Library Tuesdays 10.45 am to 12.45pm & Tuesdays 5.30pm to 7.30pm both start 16th May.

All welcome over 18. 

Explore writing styles and genre using a range of exercises and prompts. share your writing and receive feedback. You will also have the opportunity to explore publishing opportunities.
