Visit Santa at the Oastler Market
Santa has been taking time out of his busy schedule to make special appearances in his grotto at the Oastler Market Event Space. His last two visits will be on Friday 23 and Christmas Eve Saturday 24 December from 11am to 3pm, Santa will also be doing walkabouts down to meet children at the Kirkgate Market.

Messy Crib returns for another interactive service involving storytelling, craft, music and prayers. Follow the star and meet some of the people who were there at the first messy Christmas in the messy stable and found Jesus in his messy crib. Wednesday, 25 January - Middleton Moor, Langbar and Nesfield 7 ½ miles (12km) Circular (bring your own packed lunch) FREE
Meet Howard Lloyd at 11am at Ilkley Swimming Pool, Denton Road, Ilkley. A gradual ascent brings you on to open moorland with excellent views followed by a descent through the scattered village of Langbar and the picturesque community of Nesfield. A difficult walk. Please note: the start point is approximately a 15 minute walk from Ilkley rail and bus station

Once Upon a Pantomime

Classic thigh-slapping fun comes to Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley with a new display of costumes from pantomimes past featuring a selection of Principal Girl and Principal Boy costumes from pantomimes put on by the local Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (now the Keighley Musical Theatre Company).
Meet Goody the Principal Girl from the pantomime Goody Two Shoes, Prince Charming from Cinderella and Robin Hood from Babes In The Wood, as well as other famous characters who will be stepping out of the storybooks in to display cases.

Running since 2006, the Saltaire Living Advent Calendar has become a real highlight for Saltaire and Bradford, and also attracts visitors from further afield and followers online from across the globe. With its quirky window designs in picturesque settings, this magical event sees windows light daily up throughout the month in houses, schools, shops and churches.

 The Van Gogh Alive exhibition at The Regency Hall has been so popular that its run has been extended until 29 January 2023.

Bowling Wassail
 Bolling Hall Lantern Making Workshops 15 and 22 January 2023 and Bowling Wassail 29 January FREE
Join Cecil Green Arts artist and Bradford Museums and Galleries volunteer, Aamta Tul-Waheed, to decorate ready-made lanterns alongside a variety of volunteer run activities including sing-along, storytelling and foraging outdoors with award winning museum gardeners. Then bring your lantern along to the Bowling Wassail
In the old tradition of England, we will gather and be led by the Wassail King to the Jupiter apple tree at the Community Orchard for warm juice, an imbolc story, songs, blessing of the trees, waking of the spirits. Please bring a torch to see your way and light the trees.
