Shipley Towns Fund

shipley town fund

Shipley is one of 101 places across England selected for up to £25m investment as part of the Government’s Towns Fund initiative.

The Cellar Trust and HALE have submitted a joint bid for funding to develop a Health, Wellbeing and Community Campus (HWCC) in Shipley. Creation of the HWCC will change the way in which mental health and wellbeing services are delivered and how they connect with the people who need them, so that people receive appropriate, holistic support which meets their needs.

We would welcome your views on which mental health and wellbeing services, organisations and facilities you would like to see available at the campus.

The Bradford Clean Air Zone will be live from Monday, 26 September 2022.

The Clean Air Zone is designed to improve air quality in areas where it’s high and where poor air quality is impacting the most on people’s health.

Increasing the number of cleaner vehicles in the City will help people to breathe better and reduce other health risks too.

To support Bradford businesses, there are LGV and minibus grants still available on a first come first serve basis.

You can apply now for a grant to support the replacement or retrofit of non-compliant vehicles to clean air zone standards and to assist with the ongoing running costs of electric vehicles. Grants are available to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), Sole Traders/self-employed, education establishments and charities registered within the Bradford Metropolitan District.

Don’t miss your chance to apply for part of our £10.3 million Government funding, your businesses can apply for LGV and minibus grants of up to £4500 per vehicle.
