Coming Up in July
It's almost time for another glorious July in the Bradford district, and there's going to be plenty of fantastic things to do. You can attend a deliciously spicy curry festival, the amazing new exhibition at the National Media Museum, or see the district on the big screen as The Railway Children Return, and that's just for starters. Bradford Literature Festival
This week, the Bradford Literature Festival returns with an incredible programme featuring hundreds of events all across the district. With special guests John Barnes and Delia Smith in conversation, Hockney gallery tours in Saltaire, family fun days in City Park - Bradford, and more, this year's event is guaranteed to spark your imagination. Wrose Carnival
Enjoy the Wrose Carnival atmosphere, on Saturday, 2nd July at Wrose recreation ground. The carnival starts with a fabulous parade from 11am. There will also be plenty of enjoyable family entertainment, such as a classic vehicle and vintage show, a dog show with a category for the waggiest tail, live music, and market stalls. Bring the whole family to this great free to attend event for a fun day out.
Bradford Dragon Boat Festival
Get ready for a adrenalin fuelled weekend of Bradford Dragon Boat Festival racing in Roberts Park, Saltaire this July. Across three days teams will race boats along the River Aire, all in the name of charity. On land, there will be lots to do in between races, with live entertainment and food stalls to help make this year's festival even more memorable.
