It's almost June already, the past five months have flown by full of incredible things to do across the district, and next month will be no different! Take a look at some of the highlights, and mark your calendar with great events including The Bradford Literature Festival, the Haworth 1960s Weekend and the Ilkley Food & Drink Festival.
Celebrate The Jubilee In West Yorkshire
The bank holiday for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be an event to remember, with loads of fun to be had throughout West Yorkshire. Have an amazing time at celebratory events like the Great Jubilee Tea at City Park in Bradford, a concert in the Piece Hall in Halifax, city centre street parties in Leeds, and the Ossett Beer Festival in Wakefield. There will be all of this and much, much more so make sure to join in the fun.

Have an amazing family experience in the Bradford District this half-term. There are plenty of events to get involved in, such as crafting activities at NT East Riddlesden Hall in Keighley, the People Powered Press in Saltaire, and Bradford Cathedral, as well as family fun in the parks to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and water adventures at Doe Park in Denholme. The whole family will enjoy a fun-filled half-term in Bradford.
Top Secret
Head to the National Science And Media Museum before Sunday, 5th June to see the Top Secret: From Ciphers To Cyber Security exhibition. As part of the exhibition's final weeks there will be free family-friendly workshops delving into the fascinating world of coding and cyber security. These special events will give you the chance to create your own codes, and meet some of the local people working in the industry.
