A Year in Normandie
David Hockney's biggest ever painting A Year in Normandie goes on display at Salts Mill, joining some of the 220 paintings Hockney created on his iPad in 2020. At a staggering 90.75 metres the work depicts the changing seasons around the Bradford-born artist's French garden. This is the first time this vast work has been seen in the UK.

Ilkley Makers' Fair Returns
The Ilkley Manor House hosts a Makers' Fair in the Courtyard on the 7th and 8th of May. It's the perfect way to shop, with a choice of unique handcrafted pieces ranging from jewellery to garden furniture. While you're there, take a look at the amazing artworks on show in the Manor House from the first Ilkley Arts Scholarship cohort.

Cherry Blossom Festival
The Bolling Hall Museum gardeners are taking a leaf from the Japanese book on Sunday, 8th of May and holding a Cherry Blossom Festival. This will be a fantastic family event where kids can plant their own bulbs in decorated pots to take home. Blossom the flower fairy will be on hand to take selfies, and there will also be face-painting, dancing and cake!

Keighley In Motion
Over the Queen's Jubilee bank holiday, the Keighley Transport Festival will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of June. There will be a huge range of events running across Keighley to celebrate various modes of transportation. Look out for a fly-past from a classic Spitfire, displays of heritage vehicles, model railways and much much more.
