For International Women's Day Poetry workshop on the theme of the menopause.

Saturday 5th March 10am - 3pm

Keighley Library Free

We still have some places left on this workshop with published poet and author Gill Lambert.

In this workshop we will use discussion, prompts and published poetry to find our own way to talk about bleeding, not bleeding, and every bleeding thing in-between.
We will find our own experiences in those of others and see that there really is life on the other side.
There will be time to talk, time to write and time to share in a safe, understanding and encouraging space.

Join us for International Women's Day Celebrations at Sisterhood Monthly open mic night.

Its time to celebrate and we welcome you to join us at this beautiful monthly event at the slightly earlier time of 6pm.

We have chosen a theme of purple, so get your best outfits on and add a sparkle of purple to represent IWD, get your fancy hats or scarfs and lets celebrate together.

We will have music, poetry (Open Mic), snacks, drinks and cake (all are welcome to bring a snack too) and collective writing together. There will also be an exciting IWD opportunity to be revealed on the evening.

Its really going to be a fun evening in a female only space, a safe space to share your poetry and embrace creativity.

You will be welcomed into this space by everyone, so if its your first time, then do join us in confidence of knowing, we look forward to meeting you and you will be most welcome.

Any questions please do get in touch spokepoetryhub@gmail.com
