Find out more about electric vehicles
Electric vehicles go beyond the compliant vehicle standards set in the Bradford Clean Air Zone, there is no exhaust emissions from these vehicles. We are offering additional support and funding for these vehicles.
We are hosting a webinar to help you find out more about the costs and benefits of electric vehicles, local charging networks and also the grants which are available for Bradford District businesses.

Vehicle Upgrades
The webinar mentioned above is focused on electric vehicles, if this is not a viable for your business there are alternative upgrade options available.
For many businesses, upgrading to a compliant vehicle could be a cost-effective alternative to paying the charge over the longer term, in Bradford and in other Clean Air Zones. It may also offer businesses cost savings in fuel and maintenance.
If you will regularly have to pay to drive in Bradford Clean Air Zone and are a Bradford business, we can provide grants to help you replace your vehicle with a cleaner compliant one, or adapt (retrofit or repower) your vehicle so that it meets the required emission standards.
Find out more about the remaining open grants.
Check your vehicle online
Using the government’s GOV.UK’s vehicle checker, you will be able to check whether charges will apply to your vehicle using your registration number. If you’re a business or organisation, you can check multiple vehicles.
