Holocaust Memorial Day 2022

Holocaust Memorial Day is the day for everyone to remember the millions of people, including children and young people, murdered in the Holocaust under Nazi Persecution and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

Holocaust Memorial Day for 2022 encourages everyone to reflect on the depths humanity can sink to but also the ways individuals and communities resisted the darkness to ‘be the light’ before, during and after genocide.

Help your children to understand the Holocaust and encourage them to question so they too can be the light in the darkness against discrimination, racism and hatred. There are resources listed below to use at home or at school. The books listed are all available from Bradford Libraries.
