A Sparkling December
December has arrived and the festive season is well and truly upon us! There are loads of phenomenal events coming your way all across the district this month. Follow Percy the Park Keeper on his winter trail, enjoy a magical pantomime experience, festive films on the big screen, and lots of carolling. We've picked some of our favourites so you don't miss a thing!
Shipley Lights Up
On Saturday, 4th December, Shipley will switch on its Christmas lights in a packed celebration from 11:00am. A Christmas market, a lantern parade led by Cecil Green Arts, Santa's grotto, and live performances including the Peace Artistes, will be among the highlights of the event. Start making plans to visit the district, which will be decked out in sparkling festive lights.
Santa's Visiting for Breakfast
The big red man himself will be arriving at The Broadway Bradford shopping centre every Saturday from the 4th December until Christmas day (including the 23rd and 24th) to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. Children are invited to join his singing and dancing elves in making this a breakfast to remember. There will be three chances a day to join in, so we hope Santa is hungry!

Bradford Theatres' Spring Season
Bradford Theatres have announced a thrilling lineup of musicals, quality drama, family shows, and top names in comedy and entertainment for the 2022 spring season. You can see classics like Jersey Boys, big TV stars like Jimmy Carr, and the triumphant return of The Lion King to the Alhambra Theatre.
