Budget proposals for 2022-23 will be discussed at Bradford Council’s Executive meeting on Tuesday, 7 December.
The proposals prioritise delivery of key Council services and the realisation of ambition for the future. They propose a lower than inflation increase in Council tax and avoid the need for new cuts and redundancies. They enable the council to keep visible services going, care for our vulnerable adults and children and stay focussed on delivering key priorities for the residents of the district.
The proposals set out a plan for one year only, as the local government sector awaits news on funding from Government into the longer term. Thanks to careful financial management over recent years and given the need to support the district’s resilience, no material cuts to services are proposed as a result of these proposals.
