The Ilkley Literature Festival will take place between the 1st and 17th of October this year. This promises to be a fantastic event, with loads of special guests just waiting to be announced. It's time to discover some of the city's amazing new and old hidden gems, as well as meet some of the brilliant people that work there to help you have a Sparkling Summer, as inspired by the new #SparklingBradford video!  Bradford has a lot to offer, including a guided tour of the Police Museum in City Hall, scrumptious sweets at Haute Dolci and the Cake'ole, and a meander through Little Germany and the lovely Bradford Cathedral grounds.

Local Artist's New Exhibition

Ben Snowden, a Bradford-based artist, has collaborated with the Bingley Gallery for a new exhibition. Living in the Natural World includes works inspired by nature, poetry, and memory. The exhibition is open until the end of September,and on August 21st, you will have the opportunity to meet the artist himself!

Widescreen Weekend Film Festival  

The National Science and Media Museum's Widescreen Weekend returns for its 25th anniversary on October 7th. Enjoy a long weekend of big, bold and wide cinema experiences like Stanley Kubrick's classic Spartacus and Clint Eastwood in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Just to remind you of why going to the cinema is so magical.
