Please remain vigilant as restrictions lift
As we move through the next stage of the roadmap out of lockdown please remain vigilant.
Things are clearly improving however, the district still has a relatively high case rate and many people are waiting to be vaccinated.
Please continue to keep yourself and others safe and prevent the virus from spreading again by following the simple guidance of Hands-Face-Space-Ventilate.
Please continue to:
- Frequently wash your hands
- Wear a mask where legally required and in crowded outdoor spaces
- Maintain a safe social distance even outdoors
- Meet people outdoors rather than indoors as much as possible
- Keep indoor rooms and spaces well-ventilated at home and at work
Please read the government's coronavirus restrictions: what you can and cannot do.
It is also a good idea to check that your business remains Covid-secure by reviewing the government’s guidance for your sector.
Visit Covid-19 support for business page for information about the government’s roadmap, grants and advice for business.
NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app
Designated venues in certain sectors must have a system in place to request and record contact details of their customers, visitors and staff to help break the chains of transmission of coronavirus.
To support this, the Government has developed the NHS Test & Trace app which uses QR codes. The NHS website includes information on how you can support your customers and visitors to use the app.
