Holiday Activities and Food programme

Support for families during Easter school holiday

Children in receipt of benefit-related free school meals or at risk of going hungry can get free healthy food and enriching activities during the upcoming Easter school break.

This is due to funding from the DfE's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme and the DWP's Covid Winter Grant Scheme.

Bradford Council is working with organisations across the district to deliver this support.

Schools are helping put families in touch with providers offering support in their area. Providers are also reaching out to their communities.

Any families requiring support should be advised to speak to their school in the first instance.

If the school cannot help or the provider is fully booked, then they can apply online via the council website or call 01274 431000 and select option 2 for HAF.
