All households with children of school age can collect free rapid COVID-19 tests kits
Self testing is now extended to whole families and households with primary school, secondary school and college age children, including childcare and support bubbles.
Everyone needs to play their part to keep the virus under control while keeping children and young people in school.
This means that you can test your household and support bubble by collecting lateral flow tests (LFT's) for free from a local test centre if at least one household member or a member of your support bubble:
You can collect 2 packs of home test kits at a local collection point, each pack contains 7 tests. Most collection points are open from 1.30pm to 7pm.
NHS Test and Trace has rapidly expanded its network of testing sites and has more than 500 test sites that will provide LFT test kits to eligible individuals as part of community collect.
If you cannot get to to rapid lateral flow test site you can order LFT kits to to be sent to your home in England. Order LTF kits to your home here.
