Free workplace Lateral Flow Tests
Bradford Council is offering COVID-19 support to key businesses in Bradford district. This support will enable businesses to carry out free, fast, workforce Lateral Flow Tests.
The aim is to help identify those that are infectious with the virus but are not showing any symptoms. Around one in three people with COVID-19 do not have any symptoms, but they can still transmit the disease. Identifying these individuals will help reduce transmissions in your workplace, the local and wider community and could save lives.
Lateral Flow Tests are quick (30 minutes) tests which you may have read or heard about. They can be carried out and processed in the work place.
We can now regularly test staff for COVID-19. Due to the routine nature of testing of staff, Lateral Flow Tests work well as addtional tool to help your workplace to be COVID-safe. They complement other key COVID-safe working practices such as hand washing, mask wearing and social distancing.
We can help you with guidance to set up, manage and carry out your routine testing. This includes a simple training module enabling staff to carry out workplace testing. We will regularly deliver tests direct to your workplace to ensure you have adequate stocks.

NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app
Designated venues in certain sectors must have a system in place to request and record contact details of their customers, visitors and staff to help break the chains of transmission of coronavirus.
To support this, the Government has developed the NHS Test & Trace app which uses QR codes. The NHS website includes information on how you can support your customers and visitors to use the app.
