Bradford Libraries are pleased to announce that we are open with a range of services on offer.
Order and Collect
Most of Bradford’s libraries are now open for an ‘Order and Collect’ lending service. This service allows you to order books by reserving items from the online catalogue as well as by emailing or telephoning your chosen library. If you don’t know exactly what you want staff will be able to help with you with your book choices. You can then collect your book order from that library at an agreed time slot.

Returning Books
 |
|
Over recent months fines for overdue books have been waived and customers are now urged to return or renew their books before late fees are reintroduced at the end of October. So if you have late books to bring back you will not be charged for the time when libraries have been closed.
Books can now be returned at any time during library opening hours without booking a slot.
If you cannot get to a library books can be renewed online here or by using the automated service on 01274 430094.

Library Computers and Printing
Library computers can be booked in advance if you want to access online services for job seeking, benefit applications, housing, homework, citizenship or other essential family or health needs.
This service is currently only being offered at three libraries.
To book a computer session please phone:
- City Library on 01274 433600
- Shipley Library on 01274 431750
- Keighley Library on 01535 618212
Printing will be free for a short period and will be limited to 10 copies.
Computers are placed two-metres apart and support in using IT by library staff will be unavailable at the present time. If you need help or assistance in using a computer, you are welcome to bring one other person from your household or support bubble on your visit, and some on-screen advice will also be available.

Local Studies
You can now access the Local Studies collections in Bradford Local Studies Library and Keighley Local Studies Library. These collections are open for public access again to enable the use of publications and original records for study and research.
It is essential to book an appointment and request material in advance by phone or email.
Local studies library staff are continuing to provide a telephone and email to answer enquiries involving the unique local collections.
