Our ‘Order and Collect’ book service extended

Libraries Order & Collect

In common with other library services across the country we have planned for a gradual, phased approach to reopening libraries that prioritises the safety of staff and customers.

Our library service is extending its Order and Collect Service for books to another six libraries.

In addition to City, Keighley and Shipley libraries which have been running the service for the past two weeks the following will start to offer the new service:

  • Menston Library from Monday 20 July 10.30am
  • Burley Library from Tuesday 21 July 2pm
  • Manningham Library from Wednesday 22 July 10am
  • Eccleshill Library from Thursday 23 July 10am
  • Wibsey Library from Thursday 23 July 10am
  • Silsden Library from Monday 27 July 10am

This new service allows you to order books by reserving from the online catalogue as well as by email or phone. We can also help you make book choices and discuss reading preferences by phone and email.

There will be a single collection point in each library and to make sure that social distancing guidelines are adhered to you will be allocated a time slot. You can now also return books to these libraries.
