Help your staff stay fit and healthy during the coronavirus outbreak
Lots of local people are showing great courage and determination in fighting the coronavirus and keeping local services running.
We want to help you ensure your staff stay fit and well, so we’ve gathered together some useful tips on workforce resilience.
The NHS has some helpful mental wellbeing advice for people staying at home including how people can look after their bodies, stay connected with others, access healthcare, and cope with difficult feelings.
Your staff may be worrying about sick pay and benefits rights so it might be worthwhile doing some internal communications on these.
The government has issued some useful guidance for business including people who cannot work from home. This features information on who should work from home, social distancing and hand washing advice. You may wish to look at important advice on keeping work areas clean. There is also advice on what to do if someone develops symptoms of coronavirus on site and what to do if an employee needs time off work to look after someone.
You may wish to print and display some Covid 19 posters both front and rear of house.

Stay safe while out for exercise
Please follow the Government’s advice when leaving your home for exercise. It is fine to walk on paths and bridleways during exercise outside, as long as people observe the 2m rule for staying a safe distance apart. For more information, visit our public green space and rights of way guidance page.
