Coronavirus - impact on Bradford Libraries

All our libraries are closed until further notice, in an effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. We wanted to share some information with you.

Renewals and returns

You will not be charged for the late return of any items during the period that the libraries are closed. Please hold onto any items you currently have on loan and do not try to post them through letter boxes or leave them outside libraries.

Whilst our libraries are closed, you can always use our digital library.

We have access to thousands of magazines and newspapers, including todays editions, via our PressReader App

Home Access to Find My Past

In light of the challenging circumstances we are all facing, Findmypast would like to provide remote access to your library subscription via username and password.

Username: Bradford_Local_Studies_Library@findmypast.co.uk
Password: FMP2020

These details can be entered into the 'Sign In' page:

Some things to be aware of:

Users will not be able to log into their personal Findmypast account to use the library subscription as they normally would via IP address recognition whilst in the library premises.

 


Online Book Group

Why not join our new online book group or start your own using our Borrowbox ebook service.

These book group books can borrowed by up to 500 people at one time and a new book will be selected for discussion, and available to borrow, every two weeks and you can join in the chat and let us know your thoughts on our Facebook group #LibrariesFromHome  or in our forum https://bradlibsbookgroup.freeforums.net

They will be taking the challenge each Wednesday morning at 10am. So don’t forget to pop along!
