The name of Bradford's new market

New Safer Bradford website
The Bradford Partnership: Working Together to Safeguard Children together, along with the Bradford Safeguarding Adults Board and Bradford Community Safety Partnership, have developed a new Safer Bradford website which is now available for everyone to use.
The purpose of the website is to provide parents, carers, young people and the community with advice on how to keep children and adults safe and support community safety. It also provides those who work with children and adults with training and information on best practice.
Set up a Direct Debit for your Council Tax and we'll plant a tree
We have pledged to plant a tree for every additional household who signs up to pay their Council Tax by Direct Debit before March 2020.
Direct Debit is a simple, safe and secure means of payment. It is also more convenient for bill payers than other payment methods.
This pledge is one of a number of measures we are taking to tackle climate change following our declaration of a climate emergency in January 2019.

Get Ready! Making sure West Yorkshire is prepared for anything
West Yorkshire Prepared, the region’s Local Resilience Forum, is made up of West Yorkshire’s emergency services, local authorities, health providers and the Environment Agency. Together with the Met Office, voluntary organisations, transport and utility companies, the Partnership work to identify potential risks and produce emergency plans to either prevent or mitigate the impact of any incident on local communities.
Coming up in 2020, West Yorkshire Prepared will continue to work to keep the people of West Yorkshire safe. It will host, deliver and support a number of events, training sessions and seminars all designed to plan for and make the region more resilient to local and national incidents.
They will be launching a new website soon, but in the meantime you can keep up to date with the work of West Yorkshire Prepared on Facebook or Twitter.
