Tour de Yorkshire 2020 Route Announced

Queensbury Queens at TdY 2020 route launch

There were  big cheers for Queensbury from our Queensbury Queens of the Mountain Public Page Cycling club when it was announced on Friday that it will feature as part of this year’s Tour de Yorkshire.

The district will see two stages of this year’s race which will feature Queensbury, Keelham, Oxenhope, Haworth, Oakworth. There will also be a climb at both Cote de Goose Eye and Cow & Calf, and a sprint at Ilkley.

Stage 3 of the Men's Race and Stage 2 of the Women's Race - Barnsley to Huddersfield on Saturday 2 May will see the riders race through Oxenhope, Leeming, Denholme Clough, Keelham, Mountain and Queensbury.

Stage 4 of the Men's Race Halifax to Leeds on Sunday 3 May will see the riders come through Keelham, Denholme Clough, Haworth, Oakworth and Goose Eye. It also goes to Ilkley, Cow and Calf, Burley Woodhead and Menston.

Sportive Route Announced 

The Tour de Yorkshire Ride offers a unique mix of pro tour cycling combined with Yorkshire hospitality and beauty resulting in a sportive dream day.

This is your chance to ride many of the same roads as the pros before they do, including the pro finish line, complete with support from the waiting crowds. 

Both the 'Long' and the 'Medium' sportive routes come through the Bradford district with a Sprint section through Ilkley and a Climb at the Cow and Calf.
